River of Blood

Wanted to go back and revisit a character I grew up with... Frank Castle... the Punisher.
I thought it'd be a breath of fresh air for me to illustrate this antihero, once again, after taking a long while since I last drew him.
I sure hope I did this titular force of nature justice! Tho I know he'd prefer the term punishment. Hahahaha!
Really not a fan of how so many depictions of Frank Castle tend to be so watered down these days and afraid of showcasing him and what he should be capable of. Heck!
Even the his own Netflix incarnation lacked in a lot of ways, especially when it comes to his actual vigilante work.
So, I made it a point to maintain the Tim Bradstreet MAX imprint look while integrating my own twist to the attire, especially the body armor and ammo pouches, and I also took inspiration from Lee Bermejo's gritty techniques used in his Batman pieces.
